Summer Bishil is an American actor who is most well-known in her portrayal as Margo Hanson on the Syfy fantasy drama series The Magicians (2015-present). She had previously gained recognition as the character of an American girl aged 13 Jasira Maroun. She is subject to an emotional journey in the context of the U.S. war in Iraq in the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. The film was later chosen as one of Variety's 10 actors to watch in 2007. She was in 2009 as the imposing Taslima in the film Crossing Over. She was nominated in the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead in the film. She also appeared in a number of films, including Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star and Under the Silver Lake and has played several guest roles on television apart from playing co-lead on Lucky 7.
